On the topic of the G20 and other multilateral initiatives- how would our panelists suggest that key anti-corruption issues (such as beneficial ownership or public procurement) be better connected across these efforts; and how can they ensure these reforms are then also connected to OGP as a platform for implementation? Are there specific tips on this?

Ben Souleymane COULIBALY

Merci de nous aider à améliorer cette plateforme avec vos feedbacks. Merci

Session Description

Data from OGP’s first decade demonstrate that anti-corruption commitments yield high returns on investment, with high levels of ambition and strong early results. But recent leaks, including the Panama and Pandora Papers, have highlighted how powerful shadow networks continue to disrupt the operation of democracies and rob citizens of resources meant for essential public services. Join us to discuss how citizens, civil society and journalists are working to uncover corruption, and how reformers in government and the community can help spur new approaches and remedies, including through OGP action plans. This plenary will also highlight ways that multilateral fora on anti-corruption can drive more effective policy action at the country level.
